Right to withdraw from the contract

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Special notes for digital content and software

According to Art. 16 lit. m of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and § 356 para. 5 BGB, the right of withdrawal for contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium expires if

  • the entrepreneur has started with the performance of the contract,

  • the consumer has expressly agreed that the entrepreneur begins with the performance before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and

  • the consumer has confirmed his knowledge that he loses his right of withdrawal by his consent with the beginning of the performance.

When purchasing a software license or digital download, you expressly confirm during the ordering process that you agree to the immediate commencement of the contract execution and that you are aware that you will lose your right of withdrawal as a result.
